Structalath No. 17 1- 1/2" x 1-1/2" SF CR II is a welded wire lath engineered to enhance the performance of stucco cladding. Structalath reduces cracking and increases stucco embedment while providing worker friendly benefits.
Structural Performance
Excellent reinforcing value and crack resistance
Mobilizes all wires to provide a reinforcing truss
Welded joints provide structural integrity and superior stiffness
Square openings at 1 1/2" provide crack bridging capability
Furring pattern allows excellent keying in the stucco
Patented Cold Rolled Technology
Cold rolled - flattened longitudinal wires are unique to Structalath products
Flat longitudinal wires are employed so that the roll of wire does not 'spring back' when unrolled
The cold rolled process increases tensile and breaking load of the wire
Wires are aligned with the stress direction so that full tensile strength of wires is employed
Excellent Furring
Furr depth of 1/4" provides for ideal stucco embedment
Each and every cross wire is securely furred
Flat furr design ensures there will be no damage to the vapour barrier
Tensioning of wire during installation will not flatten out the furr
Worker Friendly
Structalath rolls are easy to handle, reducing lathers' fatigue and increasing productivity.
Designed with safety in mind: Structalath will not spring back on the applicator, reducing the number of cuts.
Less frustration means worker satisfaction.
